This is A Reuters quote:''We do plan to formally introduce the Camino chipset or the 820 chipset supporting Rambus (technology) within the next couple of weeks,'' Barrett told a news conference. IS THIS NOT ENOUGH?

I know. We've all been saying that for some time now. This deafening silence has been most disheartening. But it finally looks like Intel is getting their heads out of their asses and saying something. Too bad Rambus can't control its own destiny.

pomp,

Absolutely critical that statements from now and forward come from Barrett or other top execs. I think Intel has recognized that the speculation, leaks, FUD and nonsense which has surrounded this entire problem the past several weeks needs to be corrected with top management making clear, unambiguous statements.

Now, having said that, let's get the announcement out!

To borrow a phrase (if it hasn't been borrowed already) "When the TA and FA don't jive, believe the TA".

I think there's been an announcement <G>.
