Justa, Re: Beige Book...but does it matter..

Perhaps not (although the Bond Market sometimes notices). Nothing seems to matter to the NAZ today - up about 2% right now...

Fed Unlikely to Raise Rates By Year End, Post's Berry Says

Tokyo, Nov. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve officials are unlikely to raise interest rates before the end of the year, following signs economic growth is slowing, writer John Berry said in a Washington Post article. Economic figures since Oct. 5, when the Fed adopted a ''bias'' toward an increase, have led investors to believe the Fed is now divided over an increase. Philadelphia Federal Reserve President Edward Boehne, in an interview after a Fed survey of economic conditions showed growth may be weakening, said risk of inflation hasn't materialized, Berry said.

The 30-year bond yield fell 1 basis point to 6.12 percent in Asia after the release of the article.
