Geewiz, if you were to check charts of '93, when gold was fluctuating due to market conditions rather than CB and short seller's manipulation, you'll see that the POG changed with, but opposite to, the dollar - but if you priced it in Swiss Francs, the POG remained relatively stable.

IOW, without manipulation, the POG should play counterpoint if the dollar were to sing a swan song.

Art, Impay pays a sizeable dividend every year. However, it is too pricey for my taste right now. The metals, in general, are a hedge against my deflationary scenario not being right and inflation being the culprit.
