I don't see that the fact that you "tried to include some unfavorable material" and "tried to give a fairly objective account" quite qualifies for a retraction or apology on my part, and am sure you agree. After the argument here had been put to rest, and I had departed, you posted your summaries. I could have done the same, following precisely your model of attempts to be "fairly objective," and then your summaries and mine could have dueled, and your "cherry picking" could have been seen alongside mine. So don't be rendered all speechless, Neocon, really. I will substitute for "cherry picking" your words, though. You "tried to" include "some" unfavorable material, and "tried to" give a "fairly" objective account-- ... and your "summaries" described thus were posted here with no contrasting ones, as I declined to participate in a parallel-summarization or parallel-cherry picking process that might have yielded some interesting results. I must leave the computer and do some work now.
