TV and the SI Teleprompter... maybe something like this...

Business News Anchor (BNA): Yesterday, Qualcomm announced fourth quarter earnings, hitting whisper numbers of $0.91 amid a booming market for it's CDMA technology. With us today is Dr. Irwin Jacobs, CEO of the company... Dr. Jacobs to what do you attribute this fantastic earnings report?

Dr. IJ: Well, we believe our CDMA technology is clearly the answer for future voice and data transmission situations.

BNA: But what about GSM and it's advantages... surely you can acknowledge that you're lack of WCDMA experience could... wait a second... I've just learned that Jim Willie thinks I'm a dork, maybe even chuckj in disguise ... let's move on... Dr. Jacobs tell us about the pending sale of the handset division...

Dr. IJ: We beleive that now that CDMA technology is established, we can better suit our customers and shareholders by focusing on what we can do best, that being ASIC development and R&D... the potential suitors are lining up, but we want to make sure we negotiate the best deal possible...

BNA: But what if the new buyer decides against using your ASICS... couldn't that potentially cripple your royalty and licensing earni.... hold on... yes... yes... it's just been verified that I am in fact a dork... and that I'll shut up if I know what's good for me... (pause while BNA stares into space).... ok, ok... it looks like I need a brain transplant, so we'll have to stop there before I say anything even more stupid like making a reference to Motorola's "great" new chipset... Thank you Dr. Jacobs...
