Listened to webcast and TM does not sound like a normal person. He seems to be kind of weird. Mentioned leaving Switz. with a "real high" twice during the call. Any technicians care to venture where the short term bottom is?

Doug: I'm not saying that Newbridge will become another Madge, I'm just saying the potential is there. Look how fast the market for TR disappeared and how that impacted companies like Madge and Olicom as well as others. If ATM makes the big inroads that some are anticipating, then competition will be very aggressive and so will pricing. If ATM does not take off, then Newbridge is a one trick pony without an act. Either way, it is difficult to establish yourself in this cutthroat environment without the diversification of a Nortel, a Lucent, an Alcatel or a Cisco.
