Eric,

My post had to do with shorting Indexes as opposed to shorting individual stocks.
Indexes are 'safer', because they tend to move slower and you can see the trend better. Also, an index cannot be bought out!
eg shorting SPY @ 137 before the end of the week is relatively safe because it should decline to it's 50 day EMA @ 132+.
That's what I mean. You dont make 20 points but you make a safe 3-4 points.
