Paul - Intel and AMD stock have been moving up in lockstep today (percentagewise). It must be that the AMD stock is dragging the Intel stock up :-)

As a result, Compaq is the first major vendor to offer these new high performance AMD mobile processors in a commercial-class notebook.

Offering essential business features at breakthrough price/performance, the Prosignia Notebook 150 featuring the new AMD K6©-2 P Mobile 475MHz processor, 14.1`` TFT display, 6 GB(1) hard drive, 64 MB of memory and a DVD-ROM drive starts at $2,299,(2) with lease prices starting at $77 per month. The Prosignia Notebook 150 equipped with the AMD K6©-2 P Mobile 433MHz processor, 4 GB Drive, 64MB of memory and a 24X CD-ROM(3) starts at $1,999, with lease prices starting at $67 per month.
