I read the ML report. It named only one company I'm familiar with - ZNDT. ML isn't listed as a MM and as far as I know, they don't cover Deswell (or any other brokerage). I'm sure they know about it and like it, but the float is too small. RE- major movement with few shares traded.

Now that ML has gone 'bullish' on HK/China, the rest of the herd should follow. Late to the party IMO as the indicators for improvement have been there for the last few months.

Been thinking about Deswell's opportunities for growth. Jetcrown is located in Shenzchen. This area is loaded with ECMs like Flextronics, DII Group, Namtai, and others in addition to factories of companies like Mita, VTech, and Epson. The number of companies continues to grow because of strong local government support.

Some of the companies have their own plastics divisions, but many of the companies sub the plastics out because of the high equipment costs and a shortage of personnel with the expertise required to produce high quality plastics products.

Deswell's potential for growth should be very high. I look for them to be adding more new customers.

FWIW,
Ron
