That's just the way I see it. I'd love to be wrong, but even if the thing was predictive, how much time do you have?

It looks like the VIX is reported once a minute. So you see it move up a bit at 12:41, stay there at 12:42, 12:43, then bang North at 12:44.

Meanwhile, the Mini opened the bar.....I don't even know if the VIX is on a Closing of the minute or the Open, but you have to presume the Open else you are giving away 60 seconds anyway.

So the Mini Opened the 12:41 bar at 1263.75, opened the 12:44 bar at 1362.50. You hit the button. Okay.

Now instead put fast Stochastics on the mini. Use the same time frame.

I have possible Sells on the stochastics at 12:24 and 12:34, but a much better signal at 12:40.....try it.

And, you still have the bands to lend a clue.
