RMBS closed at 84 1/2, up 18 points (27.07%)!

Not bad for Rambust, eh? (Huh, huh, he said bust.)

Not bad for a day's work.<g>

BTW, here's this week's review of chip prices at Sharky.

A snip:

www3.sharkyextreme.com

>>>>>>>>begin quote<<<<<<<<<

Slight price drops for the Athlon 700, P3-600, and P3-600B CPUs this week as the new Coppermine P3s are still missing in action.

Whether it's due to a lack of desire from consumers who know there's no proper foundation to mount a new Coppermine P3 in thanks to the still unlaunched i820 chipset, or because of a lack of supply from Intel's four .18um-capable fabrication plants, there are few vendors selling Coppermine CPUs at the moment.

i820 is set to launch sometime in the next six weeks according to Intel, but they're still hesitant to release an exact date at this time.

RDRAM production and sales have already commenced however, with OEMs like DELL and Compaq receiving shipments of the pricey next-generation ram modules.

<Guys, excuse me for gloating, especially on the results of one day, but I just couldn't resist:

Actually I had a phenomenal day too. RMBS (up 27% - only 18% from when I bought at open), LWIN (up 26% - my first 10 bagger), COHU (up 15%), IDTI (10%) and most of the rest did less than 10% with MSFT and COMS being fractional point losers.

Wow, what a day. Contemplating a multi-week international vacation for December to end the year on a fun note!
