Emmo, Re.:"...The volume is not exactly huge..."

today's closing volume of 680K is about 400% of the daily average of 162K, with a significant price move. Normally 300% increase would be enough to start a new trend.

Re.:"...Henderson did not release it's own PR on the announcement. Considering they are 50% partner I'd consider it material to shareholders. So why the silence? Is it premature and Henderson knows it and doesn't want another lawsuit?..."

Hanil is a J/V partner only for this battery technology. Hanil is a separate Korean business entity with their own biz plans and customers in Korea. They do not have US SEC laws to restrict them from announcing news and define whether or not it constitutes a material event for Hanil's shareholders. Hanil does not report to SEC. I do not believe that there was error. My guess is that news could have been leaked just before the conference call. Who knows? But VLNC does report to SEC and has to abide by SEC's definitions.

Another reason is that Lev mentioned in one of the conf calls that VLNC would not make PO announcement (unless it is a material event). Lev also mentioned in another conf call that NI plant would pitch in to help Hanil if they needed help with commercial production. If such a case arose in the last month (when "...their production in September or October was already spoken for..."), and the production volume for Hanil amounted only a few millions $ for a month or two, that may not be a material event to Lev. He did ask people to look up their 10Q's for those revenues when they show up in their filings. My guess is that these monies help VLNC pay their bills until they get those big orders, while reducing the amount for the just-in-time financing. just some opinions. Sorry for the long post. I got carried away, I guess. Ram
