The graphics chip is the first from NeoMagic to feature full 3D capability something that competitors in the mobile market have used against the one-time mobile graphics leader. The graphics chip features 6 Mbytes of embedded memory and supports audio, video and DVD playback acceleration. One of the big problems with NeoMagic has been that inability to deliver 3D graphics in its mobile graphics chips. Now that it has deliver that, it may be able to re-capture some of the design wins it lost to S3 Inc. and ATI Technologies Inc.
