Close, when the dead played Buffalo in '81 it was the end of my 1st month up there so I still didn't know my way around. We ended up parking what I thought was a block away from the Aud. It turned out we were about 2 miles away and yes I forgot my ticket in the car. Had to run both ways to make the show. The run took the edge off the fresh 'shrooms I had eaten so a drop of liquid was in order between sets. Man, was I right ever right for that 2nd set, Playin'>Bertha>Estimated> GDTRFB>DRUMZ>NFA>MDew>Playin>Sat Night E. JBG. I also forgot my ticket for P-Funk at the Westbury Music Fair earlier this year. The place is only 10 minutes from my house but I was too trashed to drive. Since the tickets were only $30 I thought I'd just buy another one even though I cudda made it home and back before the show started. I asked the lady at the box office for a ticket then mentioned I left my 4th row ticket at home. She asked to see the tickets of the people I was sitting with. After showing her she comped me a ticket. Pretty cool especially since the theater had recently be taken over by Delsner/Slater. It had had been family owned. The place is awesome about 2000 seats and in the round. So, what show did you forget your tickets to? BTW those Molsons were awesome. I only had two and have a great buzz. Why can't they beer like that here?
