Maybe China will buy the division and CDMA will be in China. Hutchison, China Telecom or such like might take it over. Qualcomm could just give it to them! The huge boost to CDMA in China would be worth it.

That would be down the list of possibilities. Seems Motorola hit a snag with opening a wafer plant due to US government objections, or some such political football.
