Update on the Gang of Four (oops, now Five) Beaten Downs

HLIT

Last night I said HLIT's chart looked like sHLIT. But today was very interesting. HLIT gapped 2 at the open to 54 and I dumped my position figuring it would turn tail down. And it did. But at about 53, buyers stepped up and the size on the Bid started to exceed that of the Ask. The Trade Volume Index which I use for intraday trades turned up. I bought back at 53 5/8 around noon and the stock proceeded to take off on increasing volume. Later in the afternoon it became almost panic buying. Stong volume day. The P'nF's look for a solid break-up with a print at 61.

EFII

EFII moving up nicely. The ADX looking to signal a trend in place. I have always believed this was a quality company which was recently punished because of XRX's and HWP's problems.

HIFN

Running in place today. Starting to learn this one -- usually a pretty strong gap at the open, then weakness. I may start to trade this pattern. Longer term, I suspect patience is required but Worden's BOP just gets stronger.

SNDK

Digested the secondary, and moved up toward the close. Most of the easy gains are over, but I am holding looking to 80-ish.

MIPS

MIPS sorta looks like ShMIPS today. No news, but the sell-off was on only 2/3 average volume. OBV still looks good, so I'll stay long.

ENTU

My other new trade. Looked very strong early, then sold off. VRSN and RSAS were also weak, so this might have been sector selling. Technicals still look good to me.
