Lipko, there's generally no problem with street names. As long as you keep up a steady flow of emails subscribing to a proposed offering and reconfirming your offer, you'll be an active participant in the process. But depending on the number of requests for shares, you still may not get the stock. If the offering is oversubscribed, a random number generator is used to determine who can participate in the offering.

Good luck to you.

Mark A. Peterson

John-if you are looking for a small play go for just 100 shares at the ipo price,if you can put up with the hassle.. With the same homework and time ,you can buy into the better cmgi ipo's on the first day of ipo entry ( make that in the first 5 minutes of trading) and wait at least 6 months to consider taking your profits, for a better potential chunk of profits.
Review CHEM,SILK,ENGA,NAVI,prices, charts etc. for a sample of previous cmgi ipo's.

As always, do your own DD.
Good Hunting
