gilderite, the now-emerging wireless approaches still have me at their mercy, to a large degree. At this juncture there appear to be more new entrants appearing every day than there ever were before, and the claims being laid by startups are even more plentiful and amazing than the actual trial results to back them up, in many cases. And to compound the matter, there have been questions about the authenticity and legitimacy of a number of 24 hour wonder outfits, about which I will say no more. I would encourage anyone interested in these topics to speak up here and voice specific questions, and they will very likely get answered. Or, to go to the Last Mile or Broadband Wireless Threads where some extraordinary talent exists from both industry and academia.
