I believe I read somewhere that cost of production for Hammerdown was about $200US/oz. At close to $200US cost of production and 70000ozs Major seems to be getting about 50% on proven equity with gold close to $300US. To proceed alone they needed cash to develop, apparently couldn't get it. To develop with a partner they most likely they would have to give up 50%. At least this way they get the cash (after the 90 days). Anybody know if this was the cost figure or was it Canadian dollar cost.
