SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Viador Inc.(TM) (Nasdaq: VIAD), a leading provider of enterprise portals, today announced that S. Ramakrishnan (S.R.), former chief information officer (CIO) and vice president at Citibank, has been named vice president of engineering and chief technology officer (CTO). S.R., who brings years of Fortune 1000 experience to the Viador team, is responsible for leading Viador's overall technology direction, and overseeing the execution of product development.

"The role of vice president of engineering and CTO is extremely important for Viador as we work to support the constantly evolving eBusiness strategies of our clients," said Stan Wang, Viador's president and CEO. S.R. comes to Viador from Citibank where, over seventeen years, he held positions worldwide, including marketing and product development director, regional operations and technology director, and group MIS director. Most recently, as chief information officer and vice president, S.R. was responsible for the information management strategy of the Global Consumer Bank (GCB), where he laid the foundation for global information standards, strategic analysis and database marketing. He also was in charge of identifying promising new technologies and successfully integrating the technology into GCB's architecture. As part of S.R.'s responsibilities at Citibank, he researched various enterprise portal vendors on the market and chose to implement Viador. S.R. graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India with a Bachelor in Technology, and went on to obtain a M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India.
