The pace is picking back up now and has been for a few weeks. Dramatically.

SI Bob... Is that inside information??

<VBG> (Just yankin' your chain... :0)

Btw, has ANYONE at GNET thought about advertising in Red Herring? I looked through the most recent edition and found NO MENTION of GNET. However, there was a mention of GOTO in their index of select stocks.

Call me cynical, but I firmly beleive that a company has to advertise, or send a little "juice" in certain directions, for them to receive coverage and media attention. With regard to Red Herring, or any other magazine, it wouldn't hurt to buy a few ads from them.

We may have missed the opportunity to "encourage" analyst coverage by not doing an IPO, but there is no reason that we can't find some coverage among the industry publications.

Basket Ball game GNET banners are nice, but I would like to be able to see some coverage in the press.

Regards,

Ron

"That's a seasonal slowdown that always happens in the summer, from what I've seen."

I'd be willing to bet that if you analyzed the % of decline in summer posts historically, we'd find that this year's downturn was more than just the usual "seasonal slowdown".

Hey Bob, maybe it was you (and the bot) being so good at keeping us on a spam free diet! <VBG> I know my usage slacked off over the summer....we put in a pool (with profits from GNET stock)! Next year I'll have a laptop with a wireless out there....gotta stay in touch with SI.

I realized how dependant I am on SI today....what was up? Today it seemed like both my ISPs and SI were having massive problems! For a change Datek was flawless. (a small comfort when the ISP kicks you off before you get a confirmation)

The market also slows during the summer--always and customarily, as people take vacation and down time. With so much of Europe en vacance in August, a seasonal slowing is a given.
