Kalicokatt -- The conference ends tomorrow with symposia. The one of interest is "Optical Networking Revolution." In the first session, Leading Edge Solutions for Optical WAN Transport, the presenters are Stephen Alexander, VP of Systems Technology and CTO, Ciena Corp; Fahri Diner, Founder, President, and CEO, Qtera Corp; Steve Clendening, Senior Director of Photonic Products, Fujitsu Network Comm,; and Stanley Hanks, VP of Research & Technology, Enron Comm. The second session is Breakthroughs in WAN Optical Switching and Routing, and features presenters: Anthony Wright, Senior Member, Technical Staff, Williams Comm; Michael Zadikian, Founder, Monterey Networks; Desh Deshpande, Founder & Chairman, Sycamore Networks; and David Huber, President & CEO, Corvis Corp. (Also founded Ciena.) And, finally, New Architectures and Technologies for Optical MANs, features: Jonathan Reeves, Founder, President &CEO, Sirocco Systems; Raphael Gidron, Chairman & CEO, Chromatis Networks; Raj Shanmugaraj, Founder, President and CEO, Astral Point Comm; and Hugh Martin, President & CEO, Optical Networks.
