Art and Thread,

I am starting to get my handheld PC into full swing after owning it for several months. I am trying to get our hospital pager list into the memory from a desktop excel file. I am using the day planner for appointments and reminders. Also, there is more and more in the way of medical literature and references available on-line now. CF could potentially snap up some of the business of the dedicated Franklin medical/bible/language memory modules you see at places like RadioShack.

I am happy with the multimedia functions including the digital image viewer and the Palm Player software for mp3.

The foreign language dictionary/translation software was extremely handy for travelling this summer.

I ordered an audio book from Audible.com and the compression renders a very unacceptable voice quality on my purchase. I think they need to expand file sizes and decrease compression before people give up on the idea of ordering audio books on-line. This will call for more removable memory and high speed internet access for the masses.

I will not order anything else from Audible.com for the time being. Using the audio quality of mp3 compression as a measuring stick I would say that Audible.com is lightyears behind.

I have not coughed up any cash for a CF modem yet, but I am considering it.

Would love to hear of others experiences.

I stand corrected. I didn't realize institutional holdings were that high. No wonder the stock has a lot of volatility. But the question remains whether the institutional holdings are for the short or long term. I suspect there must be a lot of short term trading going on. Otherwise, how could one see volume exceeding 1 million shares on some days?
