I have two Email addresses for Jeb Bush. I will try to put together some background for Jeb to look at and maybe even suggest a formula for settling this in an amicable way. There are major political issues for Jeb himself and settling this case will cause him to be accused of "sellling out" to the oil interests (as happened in Michigan with the Miller Oil settlement). On the other hand, fighting to the bitter end through the Courts could take several more years, but the final result could be devastating to Florida. A final cash valuation for the oil could result in a multi Billion dollar Judgement against Florida in the end. The question is, when to settle? It looks like the proverbial rock and a hard place choice. It may be a test of Jeb's Presidential mettle <G>.
