remember, windoctor has an ignore feature. chances are good that the active-x errors you are getting are the same darn ones over and over again. i don't have windoctor open in front of me at this moment, but if memory serves me, prior to asking for it to repair, you can right-click on the prob and select 'ignore'. next time you run windoc it'll say something like

8 errors found in 1 category, 8 ignored.

you can still click 'details' for more info on any of them, and you can always switch back to the previous unignored status if you so desire.

A suggestion for fixing errors Norton finds...

Try letting Norton find the errors, but you fix them manually. That way, you'll be attacking the root causes and not just the symptoms.
