Pacific Exchange bullish on Compaq

The Pacific Exchange (PCX) is in the middle of a multi-million dollar Compaq hardware rollout that
includes between 800 and 1,000 desktop PCs, 400 Professional Workstations, 500 TFT monitors,
one RA8000 Storage Subsystem and servers ranging from ProLiant 3000 to ProLiant 6500 models.
CPQ beat out Dell for the contract - valued at between $3.5 million and $5 million - which includes an
agreement with Compaq Capital and Compaq Services to service all old IBM units and trade them in
for Compaq models.<<<
