Indicator for stock market performance. When you have the rapid ascent we have recently seen, it bodes well for the market...duh!!! OTOH, a sharp reversal, spiking rates upward, is clearly a negative. These are obvious facts, yet often lost in the excitement or panic of the moment...what is the saying about fear and greed?? LOL!!! This is not necessarily a good short term trading technique, but if you can anticipate when the next rally will begin, or when the dip is no longer buyable, then you are way ahead of the game, IMHO... It appears that the bond is absolutely euphoric today. EURO guys raised 50bp, Australia raised yesterday, and we are rallying. After euphoria comes.....the 64 million $ question...
