IRVING, Texas, Nov 4, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nokia (NYSE:NOK), the
world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones and a leader in the
engineering and manufacturing of communications infrastructure
equipment, today announced a 225,000 square foot addition to the
company's campus in The Commons of Las Colinas.

The new seven-story building, set for completion by December 2000,
represents the fourth facility on the campus and brings the total
occupancy of office and research space to 897,000 square feet. It is
being developed by CarrAmerica.

Set between the two latest additions on the Nokia property, the
building will be known as Nokia Building Two. It joins Nokia Building
One, a nine-story, 224,000 square foot building which occupies the
southeast corner of State Highways 114 and 161 in Irving, and Nokia
Building Three, a six-story, 155,000 square foot building. In addition
to the three newest buildings, the campus includes Nokia Building Four,
a four-story, 293,000 square foot building that served as the initial
home of Nokia's operations in the Americas.

"Our long-range plans for our headquarters campus included an
aggressive growth posture, and the new building reflects that," said
Kari-Pekka Wilska, President, Nokia Inc.

Wilska said Nokia's top priority is to provide a high quality work
environment for Nokia employees at a pace that matches the company's
rapid growth. "This additional building will assure that for some time
to come," he said.

The architectural firm of Good Fulton & Farrell, Inc. is architect of
record for Nokia and CarrAmerica. Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc.
provides real estate services to Nokia, including all related
development negotiations for this project.
