Since you ask..What percentage of UNITED WAY ..which is the local hands gets to the helpless ones??? A very Miniscule amount..That is the problem..The Superntendant of Schools Polk County, Florida gets $185,000 annual Salary.+ all the Perks involved..The County Clerk retired with a $90,000 annual pension...I could tell you horror stories..but what the el' makes everyone think the LOCALS are not grabbing every $ they can get..I have worked both levels..God Forbid that the big $ get into the hands of locals who are the most greedy creatures I have seen...
