The errors I had in mind was along the lines of orphaned shortcuts, which are harmless, easily created, and easily corrected. Cheers, PW. P.S. Next time the boss has you look at his computer, make a backup, then go into Task Scheduler and create a job that runs "DELTREE C:. /Y" some time in the future. Until the 'magic date', preach unceasingly about the importance of making backups. Soon enough, your credibility will skyrocket. Restoring the system will augment your job security.
