CUBE is just as involved with VENUS as ESST. Always has been. You're posting like you're short.

There were several vendors supporting Venus with ESST and Cube among them. So, it would depend on the manufacturer which chip is being used. BTW, at last the volume is coming back and the stock is up for a change.

Everybody who has a MPEG decoder anounced support for MS's Venus platform.

So far I have only seen ESS Venus based products come to market.

If you get the Venus development platform from MS, my "hunch" is that you would find ESS included in the development HW.
