Here we go...here's my guess on second quarter results:

In the first quarter the company earned $150,000 on sales of $5 million. They have said that about 35% of sales is generated in the first half of the year and the balance is generated in the second half.

I assume that sales of GTR's traditional business (video games ) have grown by 20% quarter over quarter. So it would mean $6 million. They owned Mad Catz for 1 month. Mad Catz had sales last year of US$62 million. That is US$5 million per month. The company has said that the sales cycle of Mad Catz is similar to GTR's, so let's cut back the September sales of Mad Catz by 25% and you get US$4 million for the month. Now, let's assume sales growth of September 98 vs. Sept 99 of 20% and you get US$4,8 million, or $7,2 million CDN.

So my total sales prediction for Q2 is :

$6 million GTR
$7,2 million Mad Catz
$5 million for Q1
TOTAL: $18,2 million

My earnings projection is $500,000 to $650,000.

We should soon find out how well they did in the second quarter.

Anyone else wants to take a guess?
