Long a dozen B2B mania stocks, along with the usual book cooking suspects in the internut space. (if a particular company hasn't shown a willingness and ability to fraudulently represent their earnings/revenues, i'm not interested in buying their stock because it means they care more about ethics than their stock price, which is a fatal combination in the pimping..er analyst world) I am finally convinced that this mania will extend until every last available dime is taken from the investing public.

The main reason for my bullishness is www.stockgeneration.com.. Those guys have banner ads here on SI ! They are a pyramid scheme run out of dominica (offshore tax haven) that GUARANTEES to double your money every month, by investing in a "virtual" stock market of companies that do not exist. Obvious fraud, I thought it was just a joke until bloomberg reported they were taking in 35 million dollars a week in new money.

If people are willing to throw billions at "companies" that DO NOT EXIST, then just imagine how much more they'll throw at a company that at least has a few employees and a mail drop box in the valley?

This will eventually destroy our economy. It is symptimatic of a breakdown in rational investment sensibilities and fiscal sanity in general..BUT, when that happens, the destruction will be so great that the government will be forced to bail us all out. Just like savings and loans fiasco, or LTCM..
