Don, I could tell you things that would shock you but my SI priviledges would get revoked. PPT is the plunge protection team. It is in the realm of conspiracy theories and is not likely to be proven but some mkt observers believe this is going on -it would not shock me. The problem is if the gov't supports failed investments because they are too big to fail ( LTCM) eventually the accumulated malinvestments and maladjustments become to big to BAIL. Then we may see a severe case of TL & EV of MYTHIC PROPORTIONS . ho ho ho Mike
