That is an astute psychological point. My mother-in-law (RIP) was always fretting about the supposed degradation of the area they lived in, and about property values. In fact, the area looks as good as ever, and, after my father-in-law's death, the house sold at a good price.....They were between Ward Parkway and State Line, on 72nd Street, about a quarter of a mile from Mission Hills.....
