Sonki. Why didn't YOU tell me? gg. But I can guess. You probably told him someone else would come forward. Maybe even PFE since they are already doing business with WLA on that Lipitor drug etc. I was hoping for another offer but not from PFE. So now my WLA is up and PFE is down. I was a little hesitant when it came to AHP. This suit is still not over with. The Judge has not given his ok so far.

I did sell some of my WLA shares at 90 1/2 after they opened up again this afternoon. I fig. a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush. And I have my eyes on a cpl of other stocks. I wasn't too keen on selling my long term gains though.

Yes. Sometimes I think this is more time consuming than a day job. Funny retirement that is but at least a profitable one so far. I'd better mention my wife here. She is a big contributor in this task. Actually works harder at it than I do. She had a head start before I retired.

I refrained from buying anything today. Today is another employment number. Let's see what they make of it either way. A.Cohen said no matter what the FED does, the bond market will not be upset. So I guess the stock market won't either.

My PFE better not go down any further after just recovering some lost ground.

BTW. I got some shares in another IPO thru SFE. This time it was PACW. Do you still own CMGI? You never did tell me if they allow you to buy shares they are bringing public at the IPO price. I think I heard in the meantime that they do. Is that correct? I may want to look at it in that case. This is kind of fun getting those nominal IPO shares.

Sonny

Lots of shopping for me today
Stocks: ONTC, QCOM, JDSU
Options: INTC, AOL, CDN

After AOL splits would not be surprised to see shares run to $100 by end of November. I also see QCOM shares running rather rapidly to $100 post their split.
