Finally I can make a contribution. If I understand the ad as you described it, PYNG is doing what we call a "teaser" campaign. A teaser campaign in a consumer market is usually planned a couple of weeks before launch. In the case of a trade item like the Fast 1, I'd say they should start the teaser no more than three months out, so, assuming the campaign has just started and that management does not lack fundamental marketing skills, I'd say that "soon" will be no later than January 2001.
