David Shirk is vice president of Marketing for Oracle's Industry Applications Division. David has more than 10 years sales and marketing experience in client/server applications and vertical industry business solutions.

Before joining Oracle in May of 1996, Shirk was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Macola Software, a manufacturer of software solutions for small to midsize distributors and manufacturers. Prior to his 4 year tenure at Macola Software, he was Marketing Manager for Novell, Inc. where he led joint development and marketing projects as part of the NetWare Systems Division. At
Novell, Shirk was responsible for product and programs management for the developer products division.

Shirk is an accomplished industry speaker and author, and holds a bachelor's degree in business from Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.

Am I missing something or is there every possible sign of a company blowing up in our face, staring right at us...
I'm going to hate doing it, but I think I may have to exit at this point

The 2 previous posts are very confusing to me...one says shirk runs novells marketing, the next says he runs a marketing division at oracle....Anyone care to explain....Either I am loosing here or this is getting scary to watch
