As I said, there are some that are quite memorable. In any event, if anyone's operas were that popular, opera would not need subsidy<VBG>...I have the data you requested: Allison Charney, who has sung with the New York City opera and a number of regional companies, performed Tosca. Peter Riberi, who recently debuted at the Met, played, Mario, and Sun Yu, who has performed with the New York City Opera, sang Scarpia....I will consider the singability question...
