Etrade has been sleeping the past few months... Everyone kinda just ignored it. It's internationally recognized worldwide plus its got an incredible synergy with many other companies. Even AOL and Etrade have some sort of tie together (i don't know exactly, but i was onsite at AOL a month ago and everyone had a magnet that said etrade/AOL....

If you go long you will someday see huge gains. (Of course i 'm hoping to hold like another 10-20 years...

This gave the financial services industry a nice boost today..

WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- The Senate approved a sweeping bill Thursday
that would "modernize" the financial services landscape of America by
allowing banks, insurance companies and securities firms to merge or
compete with each other and giving consumers one-stop shopping.

The Senate vote was 90 to 8. The measure is scheduled for a vote in the
House later Thursday. President Clinton has promised to sign the bill.
