i'm afraid he was a little late. even though microsoft went down .4375 and we are a day closer to expiration, november 95 call rose .375. implied volatility rose from 35 to 47.

Maybe he's why the Nov 95 calls are up. I bought a few at 1-11/16.

taxman, What if there is no announcement---does volatility drop on Monday? If so, why not buy then and wait for it to rise later in the week, again. What do you think?
I do currently hold some November 100 calls. I am looking for a quick move up after the announcement. It won't be all negative coming from Jackson, IMHO. That would be enough for a quick move up. Of course this stock is probably a safer bet against a downside move considering how the other techs have already run up in a big way, even Intel.

I actually bought some more MSFT shares, reducing some other positions. It is getting a little late to load up on MSFT shares---don't want to miss the boat (a relatively safe boat!!).
