TC:

Office on top of IE5 disables uninstall or repair of IE.

Shouldn't corrective surgery be available for that? I would like to believe it results from the law of unintended consequences...

Thanks,

JCC

My friend has code to let you hide the all advantage view bar yet still accumulative time. Here is the downloadable software for free trial:

All this talk and transition to IE5 got me to take a look at it. I've been using Netscape for over four years. Using a stopwatch to test Netscape's 4.7 and IE5 side by side it appeared that on balance IE5 loaded a good deal faster. I'd like to hear anyone else's thoughts to confirm this. One thing that I didn't like about "Favorites" was that it seemed that I couldn't cut and paste like I could with "bookmarks." Did I miss something? Is there a way to move a favorite from the bottom to the top of a long list without dragging it? Someone posted that you just have to get use to IE5. If it loads faster I'm ready to jump ship. :-)

With regard to IE5, is there any way to alphabetize the Favorites/Bookmarks, other than dragging them around? With over 200, and as an automatic feature, it sure would be time-saving if there was a way. I have created many folders, which alphabetize themselves within the folders, but the individual favorites do not. Also, the Folders are random and unorganized.

Thanks,
Carol
