DISH I assume you're referring to offering local service? I'm not in the industry, and am not aware of the technical issues, but do know this is a hot item and is under consideration by Congress. See for example: cnn.com With the investment in infrastructure that DISH is making, I would think it would not be a significant problem to have an uplink in all major markets to beam broadcast signals from local stations up to the DISH satellites. All I can say is that DISH has been an excellent performer for me. I came to the party late. Bought shares on 8/27 at a presplit price of 77 3/4. I'm less than 10 points from a double on it in less than 3 months. Gotta like that.
