Doubt if we will hear from Morgan on a day like today...

Why get on Morgan's case? I'd bet he's been trading the OLBs on the upside.

Doubt if we will hear from Morgan on a day like today if you read some of his past posts he is an obvious shorter of Nite. Why buy into such a fundamentally sound stock like Nite when he can day trade with the recent IPO's that offer so much more potential. Like I have said in previous posts fair or not fair NITE will go as the other OLB sector goes. Abbey Cohen announces interest rates have peaked financial services is where to be and the run up has started. Contrary to others we will see $60-80 soon if:
1. Interest rate hikes are over.
2. The bill is signed allowing bank/ins/broker mergers is signed.
3. The option purchase promised this QTR is announced (250-500M added
to top line sales per CNBC focus feature) .
4. NASDAQ and EASDQ (NITE owns 20%)make expected various agreement announcements.
All of the above are very likely to occur this month!
Don't forget KP will do a split at a price above $60

this is worth cutting and pasting...

possible...very good for me...but not in a month.

the split i have to say no commentolla!

btw-sws didn't call a split!

<<Doubt if we will hear from Morgan on a day like today if you read some of his past posts he is an obvious shorter of Nite>>

I can, and have posted on any day - up or down... precisely because I am NOT "an obvious shorter of Nite".

I have no fixation of being short or long any stock - I'll trade it with the trend, as best as I can read it. I don't care if I am long or short. I have been both in NITE, though, true, I've been mostly short - but that is not my fault, or my "character", but a function of how NITE has trended the past few months.

And indeed I did not trade NITE today, as I was busy with other things. I have an obligation to use my capital as efficiently as possible. If there is greater potential in a different stock, as I perceive it, that is what I'll trade.

Further, I have said repeatedly, since the pre-warning - it makes little sense to be short NITE at this point, as the general trend for the stock is UP. There are special situations where you may want to short for a quick intraday trade, but the risk/reward ratio does not favor shorts in NITE at this time.

And I have always maintained: if you have a great deal of patience, NITE's prospects are very good. I *personally* have a major problem with NITE's management and their credibility and trustworthiness, but I have always been careful to divorce that from my views of the business model and stock prospects.

I think we would all benefit by examining all perspectives, instead of labelling posters with simplistic categories.

Good luck!
