Sometimes I think the lawyers are out of control. I understand that AOL is going to be sued because it is not user friendly for blind people. The lawyers are claiming that AOL's software violates the American's with Disability Act. The ADA is proof that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. No one can disagree that a disabled person should be given every opportunity to succeed as everyone else, but the ADA is a Pandora's box. A mother in Lawton, OK (I believe it is) is preparing to sue because her son, who has cerebral palsy and uses a walker, is not being allowed to play in a youth soccer league. Before saying that this suit is ridiculous (which it is), remember that the Supreme Court ruled last year that a youth baseball league that disallowed a boy with cerebral palsy who used crutches was violating the ADA.

Yes. I heard that tonight while I was out. It's hard to run a business anymore with all this stuff. AOL says they are disappointed. They said they are trying. There is such a thing like compassion but sometimes you wonder where it ends. I never knew that software was mentioned in this American's with Disability Act. Do all the other net cos. have such a software?
