Hi. This is OFF TOPIC, but you guys are number one on the hot list (congratulations!), so I did want to post it here. I hope it's okay: I would like to suggest that every who is so disposed, and I hope that will be everyone, bookmark the site below and visit it daily, and email it to all your friends with the suggestion that they do it, too, and pass it on to their friends: thehungersite.com You simply click the button once a day (I do it as soon as I turn the computer on so I won't forget) and, as you will see when you visit the site, you will have donated a specified amount of free food to a hungry person. The food --- rice, wheat, maize or other staple food -- is paid for by a variety of corporate sponsors, and the amount you send when you click varies according to how many sponsors the site has that day. Today it is 2 1/4 cups. I have seen it as little as 3/4 cup, and today's 2 1/4 is as high as I've seen it. It occurred to me that on SI there are probably people who would not only click the button daily, but who might be interested in sponsoring the site, or who would know someone who would. One SI person has already suggested it to a specific firm. (While I'm at it, I also click on a couple of the sponsors' links, to encourage them....)
