JFD, I am placing my bet on MSFT going forward when comparing it to the Sunw, IBM or Oracles types. It has a lot of catch up to do.

It is investors' obsession with uncertainty that leads them to miss out on big gains in the market. Once the uncertainty is out of the way, the stock goes up under every scenario that i see. The uncertainty is what brings out the best opportunities. That also applies to the market as a whole.

I love October.

BTW- you could be right in that the longer the judge takes, the better it is for MSFT. I am expecting a pro-DOJ fact finding but he will hint at something that will be positive for the MSFT position. That is all it needs to move to new highs shortly.
