Hi mike

Help me with this. From press release from split

San Diego-based Qualcomm said it had authorized an increase in the company's stock to 3 billion shares, but gave no further details.

If we had 190 million shares outstanding, 190 x 4 is only 760 million. How do we get to 3 billion?

thanks

Voop

Since you're so good at keeping track of that stuff, it would be great if you would let us know when they upgrade Qualcomm. I'm willing to bet that the upgrades will be at higher prices than when they downgraded the stock.

No doubt about it Mike. I love it when Dan Niles from Banc Boston RS downgrades a stock because that's a clear signal it's going much higher. Too bad he doesn't cover Qualcomm. On second thought.......

I simply do my anal tracking of things to understand the big picture of the efficient market game. There are a few flies I watch very closely that seem to be attracted to the more appetizing piles of shxt. I ignore these flies and their appetite for the various choices of food that attracts them. At least they prevent me from soiling my shoes as I walk down the street of long term buy and hold wealth accumulation without any ties to a full service brokerage account.
