I know what you are saying - I have no idea either! This is pure speculation. So not to worry.
My point is that shady characters always have their trusted lawyers by their sides. Like in the Godfather. Or a Peter Lorre/Sydney Greenstreet movie. Bad guy gets picked up, places his one phone call, always to a "family" lawyer who rushes over.
If there were a lawyer in the Explorer on Bluebell Lane, a likely scenario, it would not necessarily have to be a criminal lawyer. Any legal adviser worth his salt would know the basics. Remember OJ's original lawyer? Not a criminal lawyer.
