Bux: Are you referring to an actual quote from Tero, viz:

(and if so from where - have not seen this statement quite this way from him before - are you sure it is accurate?)

"That's the interesting part for Nokia shareholders. Because no matter how many times mobile phone manufacturing is portrayed as "box-making" - year after year another company keeps biting the dust. Nortel, Lucent, Sony, Qualcomm... the list of companies in full or partial retreat keeps growing."

Did Tero actually say that Nortel, Lucent, Sony, Qualcomm...are "biting the dust"? Last I looked these companies are alive and well.

That statement must be in the context of handsets and handsets only - which of course is Tero's focus. He can't possible mean anything broader than that - can he?

Curious. Or as in Alice in Wonderland "curiouser and curiouser".

[To my way of thinking, the interesting part about Nokia shareholders is wondering how much profit they would have if they were Qualcomm investors instead.]

Dear Bux, I am a NOKIA shareholder! Nokia has had great profits. Why should I be unhappy?

Best wishes,

Mephisto
